Lighthouse Studio - Wedding Videography

March 5th, 2009

Recommended by Alvin, we met up with Ming Song from Lighthouse Studio. Very nice guy… showed us a couple of their work, we were impressed. As we are doing a xxxxxx xxxxxx xxx xxxxxxx, xx xxxxxxx xx xxxxx xxxxxxxx xx xx xxxxxxxx xx xxx xxxxx xxx xxx xxxxx-xx. Shared with him our idea and he gave us some tips. Also, we are thinking of xxxxxxx xxx xxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxx  xx xxx xxxxxxxxx, xx xxxxxx xxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xx xxx xxxxxx.

Anyways, we are seriously considering them for our videography…meanwhile need to work out my sums.

Some sentences have been crossed out (x) on intent. Ju said to keep our guests in suspense and will only be revealed on the actual day.

Which videographer?

December 12th, 2008

Had a very long and tiring day… we met up with 3 different videographers and several hours spent in discussion with each of them. By the end of the day, we were completely beat. Our votes went out to Vocare…the best so far, though still not up to our expectation. Meantime, we will ponder upon it, and perhaps meet up with a couple more…Faint!!!

Videographers aren’t cheap at all…

December 11th, 2008

Been very busy at work lately -  trying to get in all the contracts, managing and giving presentation to my clients, worrying about forward bookings for 2009 etc… As a result, I have neglected our wedding preparation!

Ju has just reminded me that we’ve not engaged any videographer for our wedding!!!!! At this point of time, we are also clueless about the cost to engage one….how much will a good videographer cost  us?….Anyways, couple of months ago, I came across http://www.gregsvideo.com/ after reading a blog on http://www.gobalakrishnan.com/. Apparently, the author of http://www.gobalakrishnan.com/ has engaged Gregs Video for his own wedding, and after watching a few samples, I was VERY impressed!

So I thought I should share it with you guys:

With some research, I learned that this special effect can be obtained using the STEADY effect, hence, creating a movie feel.

We got a quote from Gregs Video, kinda of expensive since they are based in Malaysia, and in addition, we are also required to take care of their daily lodging and meals.

My baby has been very hardworking laterly…She has gotten in touch with a few videographers. Take a look at this, http://www.stillmotion.ca. They are based in Canada, and the team produced FANTASTIC videos like Gregs Video, if not better. This is the type of effect we are so looking for!

Meeting up with a few videographers tomorrow:

  • Coffee & Tea Dreamworks
  • Vocare
  • Damon Videography
