It’s the 2nd day of Lunar New Year. We woke up late after a much deserve sleep…we had such a super long and tiring day visiting our relatives yesterday….we practically traveled from the West of Singapore to the East, then to the North! Decided to give ourselves a break and hack all the visitings today…Plan our own agenda…Sentosa Flower 2009 @ Sentosa, here we come!
Entrance to Sentosa Island was a flat $6.00, regardless of how many passengers you can sardine in your car haha. Sentosa Islander Card? Not in use today…smart way of making money. There were signages indicating thar the Beach carpark was FULL, and to use the alternative carpark @ Sentosa Cove where a shuttle bus will ferry visitors to the flower show @ Imbiah. Drama Mama!!
Still, we tried our luck and proceeded to the beach carpark…guess what…the parking fee was another $6 per entry [FLOP 1]. Is the flower show really that worth it? We drove around and lucky us, there were many available parking space outside Costa Sands Resorts, reasonable walking distance to Imbiah.
As usual there was a super long queue leading up to the flower show… we followed blindly and zig-zag up the slopes. Overheard people saying “From afar..looks as though everyone is moving up on the escalator”….haha I agree. And there were ushers shouting “In a single file, please keep to your left, and here’s wishing everyone GONG XI FA CAI”. Wish there was really an escalator!! Took us ages to reach the top. We passed by stalls selling drinks…$3 for a bottle of coke! [FLOP 2]

Luckily we did not pay for the super ex carpark.
Instead, we created our version of ZIZI Fashion Festival (Wardrobe Malfunction):
Haha kept us so alive most of the afternoon.
